Rosalie E. Turgeon

SACO – Rosalie E. Turgeon, 90, of Saco passed away Saturday October 5, 2024 at the Seal Rock Healthcare Facility. She was born October 2, 1934 in Somerville, Massachusetts the daughter of Frances and Alice Cunningham Picher. Rosalie moved to Maine as a young child and graduated from Scarborough High school. She later graduated from the Nursing program at SMVTI. She worked for over 19 years for Southern Maine Healthcare.

Rosalie enjoyed bowling, reading, spending time with her family and knitting.

She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years Normand C. Turgeon Sr in 2018, a brother Francis Picher Jr and a nephew Jeffrey Picher.

Survivors include a daughter Martha A. Turgeon Whitmore and husband Mark of Saco, three sons Normand C. Turgeon Jr. of Limington and wife Darleen, Charles P. Turgeon and wife Diane of Saco, and Peter F. Turgeon of Waterboro and wife Karen, two brothers Walter Picher of Pennsylvania and wife Sylvia and William Picher of Florida and his wife Maria, two sisters Alice Picher of Portland and husband Matthew Mueller and Jeanne Doucette of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, a step grandchild Mark, Kyle, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Cameron and Larissa and four great grandchildren Jackson, Mason, Malarie and Annabeth.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 11, at 1 p.m., at Scarborough Memorial Cemetery, Old Blue Point Road, Scarborough.

Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco are entrusted with her services.
