SOUTH PORTLAND – George, a long time resident of South Portland, passed away peacefully after a long illness May 24, 2024. He was born on Sept. 30, 1951.
He was a graduate of South Portland High School and briefly studied at Seminary College. He became a lifelong learner and enjoyed American History, Architecture, and Gardening. He was deeply religious and attended many churches throughout his life. He was always one to volunteer to drive a friend or family member or lend a helping hand.
He was predeceased by his gather George DiMauro, his mother Anne DiMauro and his sister Georgiana DiMauro. He is survived by his brothers Richard and Robert DiMauro and sisters Cinderalla McCabe, Elizabeth DiMauro, and Tracie Riotolo; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews.
A small graveside service will be held on July 12 at 2 p.m., Calvary Cemetery, South Portland, Maine.
