Joseph Michael Kilbride
PORTLAND – Joseph Michael Kilbride passed away peacefully and courageously on June 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 59.
Joe, born on July 13, 1964, was a remarkable individual who exemplified resilience, wit and unwavering faith and determination. After graduation from Deering High School, he earned an associate degree and pursued a career in computers. Despite numerous challenges, he overcame adversity with an infectious zest for life, including playing the harmonica, simple pleasures like watching the Blues Brothers and time with his family. Despite navigating life from a wheelchair, his mobility never defined him.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, his loving church community, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation Saturday June 22, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Jones, Rich and Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland. Services will begin at 2 p.m. followed by a reception at 3 p.m.
