It’s time the news media focus on what functions instead of the comings and goings of a convicted felon ex-president. I want to hear about the healthy economy, about the low unemployment rate and about the many projects happening because of the federal government Build Back Better bill. The same federal government that steps in during disasters in Texas and Florida to help those who, in return, want to destroy our government. I’m tired of the vengeful politics in Congress that aids no one when there is so much good they could be doing.

I’m tired of the immature antics, drama and debasing name-calling and total disrespect for civil servants who have dedicated their lives to making us healthier. My thanks to Dr. Fauci.

I have heard enough of the negativity and childish “me-ism.” Yet the truth is that all media serves us pablum that makes us fall asleep. Can our daughters or sons identify who our current vice president and Senate majority leader are? Ask them about the members of the Kardashian family, and they readily know, because we are fed nonsense by media and we think we love it.

It’s time to come together and wake up to our manipulators and demand better for all of us. Demand. Better.
