Those traveling through Gorham lately may have seen signs concerning the upcoming June 11 election. One sign instructs people to “Vote No” on the school budget and also to “Make Gorham Great Again” – an obvious reference to the political slogan Make America Great Again. For those who believe – on the whole and in spite of any issues, problems to be worked on and disagreements – both America and Gorham have, from the get-go, been “great” and still are, that slogan is insulting and disrespectful.
