Two people were killed this week in Hiram in what officials ruled a homicide-suicide.
The state medical examiner’s office ruled that Stephanie Ranieri, 43, of Hiram, was killed, and Chad Adams, 48, died from suicide, according to Maine State Police. The two had been in a relationship, police said.
The deaths were discovered Wednesday after state police responded to a disturbance on Clemons Cove in Hiram.
When troopers arrived, they found two bodies outside the home, according to a Maine State Police Facebook post.
Autopsies were conducted Thursday, and the deaths were ruled a homicide and a suicide. No other details were released.
