Residents in Westbrook, Gorham and Buxton will vote Tuesday, June 13, in school budget validation referendums.
Westbrook voters will decide on a $47.1 million school budget, up $3.2 million or 7.4% over this year’s budget. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Westbrook Community Center gym on Bridge Street.
Gorham’s $51.5 million school budget represents an increase of $5 million, or 11%, over this year’s $46.4 million budget. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ward 1-1 votes at Gorham Middle School, Ward 1-2 at Great Falls Elementary School and Ward 2 at Shaw Gym at the Municipal Center.
Buxton voters will weigh in on a $62.1 million SAD 6 school budget, up $3.3 million for a 5.6% increase. Polls will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Town Hall.
