A silent auction will be held from 5-7 p.m. June 3 at author Nathaniel Hawthorne’s boyhood home in Raymond, 40 Hawthorne Road.
Proceeds will go toward repairs of the historic house’s roof, exterior siding and interior walls.
Items to be auctioned include a five-course meal at Migis Lodge, four Portland Sea Dogs tickets, two tickets to “Titanic” at the Maine State Music Theatre, a two-night stay at The Inn at Ocean’s Edge in Lincolnville, a pontoon boat rental at Moose Landing, handcrafted Christmas decorations and more. A complimentary appetizer buffet with beer and wine will be available, and Dana Reed, also known as Capt’n Uke, will provide musical entertainment.
