SACO – Jean Mary Scammon Ilsley, 97, passed away Feb. 11, 2023. She was born May 20, 1925 to Harley Scammon Sr. and Thelma Woodbury Scammon. She went to Sawyer grammar school and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1943 and Webber Hospital School of Nursing in 1947.She married Arthur “Bud” Ilsley on Oct. 15, 1945 Interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery on May 10, 2023 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Beverly Lowell officiating. Dennett Craig & Pate Funeral Home, Saco are entrusted with the local arrangements.
