Kennebunk’s 25th annual May Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 6.
There are planned events at the Waterhouse Center, Brick Store Museum, Kennebunk Free Library, Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce, in Lafayette Park and more.
Duffy’s Tavern & Grill will once again host the pancake breakfast. New to the festival for 2023 is a bungee-trampoline jump and Southern Maine Athlete Academy obstacle course.
The annual parade will feature many favorites such as the Dunlap Highland Band, Gym Dandies, Shriners, Kennebunk Twirlers, local school bands and decorative floats, among other participants.
