Panama Canal trip talk
Residents Stan and Eileen Roth will speak about their cruise through the Panama Canal when the Gorham/Windham/Westbrook Triad meets at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at the Gorham Police Department, 270 Main St.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The Triad is a collaborative of law enforcement, businesses and agencies promoting the wellbeing and safety of senior citizens.

An advertisement in the American Journal on April 4, 1973, said that movie “Funny Girl” starring Barbra Streisand and Omar Sharif would be shown at the Playhouse on State Street. Price of admission was $1.50 and 75 cents for children.

The Treasury Department reported on March 30 that the U.S. public debt was $31,460,917,912,000.64.
