
SACO — Adeline Falardeau, a senior at Thornton Academy, has been named a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship Award, a national academic competition for high school students that provides financial aid for college.
Falardeau is one of 15,000 seniors across the nation to be selected as a finalist.
Merit Scholar® awardees will be chosen from this group of finalists on the basis of their scholastic and extracurricular accomplishments, abilities, and potential for future academic success.
Falardeau plans to study animal science/biology in college.
