Please leave the chickadee and our state flag alone. Both are beautiful pieces of art that describe our state.

The current proposed design reminds me of when the state wanted a lobster plate. The first edition was an orange-looking cockroach.

This latest design is quite amateurish and, quite frankly, very blah. Not only that, the tree looks like a fir or Christmas tree, certainly not a pine tree.

Finally, I have yet to see a blue star in the nighttime sky.
