MSAD 6 nomination papers available
Candidate nomination papers are now available for four- and three-year terms for at-large seats on the Maine School Administrative District 6 school board.
Four seats expire in June: Julie Anderson, Limington; Lindsey Atkinson, Buxton; James Moses, Frye Island; and John Sargent, Standish.
Nomination papers are available at the MSAD 6 central office, 94 Main St., Buxton, and at town halls in the district’s five towns.
Completed nominations must be delivered by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, to the registrar of voters in the candidate’s town to have signatures certified. Then, certified papers must be delivered by 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, to the district’s central office.
Election Day is set for Tuesday, June 13.

Bonny Eagle ‘Snowfest’
A “Snowfest” at Bonny Eagle Middle School starts at 11 a.m. and goes to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Activities include ice skating and snowshoeing – participants must bring their own ice skates; limited snowshoes can be borrowed at the event – with hot chocolate, hot dogs and s’mores.
