Horne joins Northern Light team

Dr. Jennifer Horne, DO, has joined the Northern Light Mercy Primary Care facility in Gorham, 74 County Road, and is now accepting patients.

Horne has undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residencies in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal/osteopathic manipulative medicine at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, according to a press release.

Prior to joining Northern Light Mercy Primary Care, Horne worked as the primary physician for a long-term care facility and as a full-spectrum primary care provider at Health Access Network in Lincoln.

Horne is board certified in both family and neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and she provides care for all ages and medical conditions.

Tree lighting, light parade

Gorham Recreation Department sponsors its annual parade of vehicles decked out with holiday lights on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Parade vehicles line up at 3:30 p.m. at J.P. Noonan Transportation on Main Street and roll out at 4:30 p.m. The parade arrives at Robie Park near the high school at 5 p.m. A tree will be lit in the park.

Ball Park Road is closed to traffic from 4:15-6 p.m.
