I would like to thank Maine voters for the reelection of Janet Mills as governor, both for the positive things she will do in her next term, but also for saving us from another LePage term.
LePage highlighted this by accusing the governor of dishonesty and elitism in his last appearance, showing his true colors as a sore loser. This statement was tantamount to saying: “I’ve been trying to fool you into thinking that I had changed into a reasonable and controlled guy, but you (the electorate) were too smart. You saw through my disguise!”
We should congratulate Gov. Mills for a constructive race, absent name calling and angry accusations, and ask that she work with legislators from both parties to do what is best for all Mainers, whether they voted for her or not.
