Ashley Connelly converted a penalty kick for the game’s first goal late in the first half, then added another goal in the second half as Gorham completed a perfect regular season with a 4-0 win over Thornton Academy in a Class A South girls’ soccer match Thursday in Saco.
Piper Forgues and Kaitlyn Nichols also scored as the Rams (14-0) struck for three goals in a four-minute span just before halftime.
Katie Martin earned the shutout, finishing with 11 saves. Ava Lomax of Thornton (8-4-1) had six saves.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Elise MacNair headed home a corner kick from Camryn Blatchford two minutes into overtime as the Seagulls (9-4) beat the Rangers (5-7) in Old Orchard Beach.
OOB’s Alaynah LeBlond opened the scoring with an assist from Blatchford. Traip’s Kierra Alessi tied it just before time expired in regulation.
Lilly Stuart made nine saves for Traip, while Summer St. Louis stopped seven shots for the Seagulls.
WAYNFLETE 3, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Lucy Hart notched a pair of goals, and the Flyers (9-3) blanked the Hawks (1-11-1) in Portland.
Iris Stutzman also scored. Morgan Earls, Fallon Cullen and Lydia Birknes each were credited with an assist.
SOUTH PORTLAND 9, WESTBROOK 1: Marina Bassett recorded a hat trick and the Red Riots (4-10) won their regular-season finale over the Blue Blazes (0-13) in South Portland.
The Riots also got two goals from Talia Bradbury, and one apiece from Alicia Ortiz, Ava Bryant, Brooke Lawton and Cassidy Clyde.
Kylie Young scored for Westbrook in the first half.
CHEVERUS 7, MASSABESIC 0: Annie Vigue and Sophia Monfa each netted a pair of goals in the first half, leading the Stags (9-3) past the Mustangs (1-10) in Waterboro.
Finley Brown chipped in with a goal and an assist. Mikayla Talbot and Lilly Hoyt were the other goal scorers.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6, ST. DOMINIC 0: Angel Huntsman tallied a pair of first-half goals and added an assist for the Panthers (12-0) in a win over the Saints (1-9-1) at Yarmouth.
Hayden Wienckowski contributed a goal and an assist. Lila Casey, Sarah Moore and Anna Belleau each added a goal.
SCARBOROUGH 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Lana Djuranovic collected two goals and an assist as the Red Storm (12-0) defeated the Scots (4-9) in Scarborough.
Ali Mokriski added a goal and an assist, and Delia Fravert and Talia Borelli also scored. Scarborough keepers Makenzie Lydon and Sophia Rinaldi combined for five saves.
Bonny Eagle’s Ember Hastings made 13 saves.

WINDHAM 2, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Bella Clapp scored from a scrum off a penalty corner late in the second quarter, and Hannah Heanssler added a breakaway goal in the fourth as the Eagles (9-5) beat the Golden Trojans (9-5) in Windham.
Emma Theriault earned the shutout, making seven saves. Allison Marines recorded 14 saves for Thornton.
BIDDEFORD 4, SOUTH PORTLAND/WESTBROOK 0: Kiki Jackson, Cece Keller, Mackenzie Day and Hannah Sonne-Loranger scored for the Tigers (12-2) in a win over the Red Riots (2-10-1) at South Portland.
Biddeford goalie Cadence Goulet made four saves. Emily Keefe had 13 saves for South Portland/Westbrook.
YORK 3, GREELY 0: Reese Walenta scored twice in the first half, starting the Wildcats (12-1) on their way to a win over the Rangers (2-9-2) in Cumberland.
FALMOUTH 3, PORTLAND 0: Allison Sweetser opened the scoring late in the first quarter, then scored the final goal as the Navigators (6-6-1) handled the Bulldogs (0-12) in Falmouth.
Anna Turgeon made it 2-0 early in the fourth quarter, just 1:31 before Sweetser’s second goal.
NOBLE 3, GORHAM 0: Malia Petelo and Ella Anania each had a goal and an assist for the Knights (9-4) in a win over the Rams (5-6) at North Berwick.
Jenna Baxter added an unassisted goal.
CHEVERUS 6, SANFORD 0: Lucy Johnson led the Stags (13-0) with three goals as they cruised past the Spartans (5-7-1) in Sanford.
Lily Johnson, Taylor Tory and Zoey Redford also scored for Cheverus, and Lillian Magda and Mackenzie Cash each had an assist.
Megan Sheppard made 19 saves for Sanford.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 7, BOOTHBAY 1: Olivia Mastine recorded three goals and two assists as the Phoenix (11-3) ended their regular season with a win over the Seahawks (2-11) in Boothbay Harbor.
Brooklyn Fournier added a goal and two assists. Adell Pease, Aubrey Kachnovich and Leach Burgess also scored for the Phoenix.
Sarah Krett notched Boothbay’s goal.
