As a resident of Yarmouth and Maine Senate District 25, I can’t think of anyone better than Teresa Pierce to represent me, my family and community in the Maine Senate.
While working for the Legislature, I had the luxury of witnessing firsthand Teresa’s thoughtful, collaborative, and genuine approach to finding solutions that benefited our great state and the communities she serves. As a father of soon-to-be school-age children, I’m thankful for Teresa’s leadership in Augusta. As House chair of the Appropriations Committee, Teresa was instrumental in achieving Maine’s obligation to fund 55% of K-12 public education.
Teresa’s thoughtful and collaborative approach is needed in Augusta. When sent back to Augusta this November, the communities in Senate District 25 can rest assured they’re being well-represented by Teresa.
Please join me in voting for Teresa Pierce for Maine Senate District 25 this Nov. 8.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
