SCARBOROUGH — Absentee ballots can now be requested for the November election.
Municipal Elections, State of Maine General and the Referendum Elections are held annually on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. This year’s election takes place on Nov. 8.
Maine residents can request a absentee ballot 90 days prior to the election. In Scarborough, this can be done by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office. To contact Town Hall, call (207) 730-4020. Voters will need to print and complete the absentee ballot request form, then mail it to the Scarborough Town Clerk’s Office at P.O. Box 360, Scarborough, ME 04070-0360 or fill out the e‑form request. Forms to print off can be found at https://tinyurl.com/28wb4w56. As soon as absentee ballots are available they will be mailed out to voters who request them.
Voting for the Nov. 8 State General Elections and the Municipal Elections, will be at Scarborough High School in Alumni Gym, located at 11 Municipal Drive, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
