BIDDEFORD —Patricia LeBlanc Cote, age 77, of Biddeford, Maine, passed away suddenly on August 26th, 2022 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born on May 10th, 1945, to George and Grace (Cyr) Gagne in Biddeford, Maine. She graduated from Saint Andre’s High School in 1963, and received a two-year business associate’s degree in 1965.
In 1966, she married Richard R. LeBlanc on October 1st. They had five daughters, Nicole, Michelle, Theresa, Maria, and Anne, which they raised in Biddeford, ME.
She was a homemaker for many years then worked and retired from UNE in 1997 to care for Richard until his death in September 1999. She was an avid church goer and Bible study member, loved family gatherings, playing cards, doing puzzles, maintaining her many plants and watching the variety of birds outside of her dining room window. She was very creative and artistic — she liked to paint, sew, knit, and paint ceramics for family.
Patricia is survived by Adrien Cote, her husband since 2010; all her children’s families: Nicole Boutet of Old Orchard Beach and Jay Germain; Michelle and Dan Hall of Falmouth with Alex, Jason, Danny and Anna; Theresa and Marcio Munch of Swan’s Island with Kaigan; Maria and Peter Tessier of Saline, MI with Sarah and Elizabeth; Anne and Bruce MacIntyre of Attleboro, MA with Aidan, Ryan and Emily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Grace Gagne, her first husband, Richard LeBlanc, and sister, Arlene Gonneville.
Visiting Hours will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James Street, Saco. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Patrick Kelly officiating. Interment will follow afterwards.
