MaryAnn Delores DiSanto

CUMBERLAND – MaryAnn Delores DiSanto, 85, of Falmouth, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022.

She was born at home in Portland, the daughter of John B. and Sara G. Fergatto DiSanto. She attended St. Joseph’s grammar school and graduated from Cathedral High School. She then worked at several insurance companies over the years and retired from commercial union insurance.

She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church where she was a lifetime member of the sacred Heart sodality. For several years she enjoyed making and selling cookies for the St Rocco’s Bazaar and volunteering at the Christmas fair.

She is predeceased by her parents; and sister, Carmela.

She leaves her two beloved brothers, Marco A. DiSanto and his wife Carole, John W. DiSanto; and her two beloved nieces, Anne Taylor (Robert) and Monica DiSanto; as well as her three great-nieces, Sara Taylor, Emily and Isabella Zografos.

The family would like to thank Dr. Delenick, Dr. Inhorn, and Dr Voisine as well as Heron House staff and Northern Light Hospice for the wonderful care MaryAnn received.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, 72 Federal St., Portland, immediately followed by a committal service at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
