Lions pancake breakfast – Saturday, Aug. 6, 8 a.m., Weymouth Park, intersection Routes 202 and 112, Buxton. Served during Buxton’s 250th birthday celebration. Jake’s famous blueberry pancakes and sausage. Drink choices: white or chocolate milk, coffee, juice. $7.
Bean supper – Saturday, Aug. 6, 5-6 p.m., American Legion Auxiliary, 15 Lewiston Road, Gray. Kidney beans, navy beans, chop suey, red hot dogs, cole slaw, a variety of casseroles, bread and butter, punch and coffee. $12, adult; $6, child; free under age 5.
