A missing elderly man was found dead Saturday afternoon,  Maine Warden Service spokesman Mark Latti said.

A search began when Malcolm Lyons, 80, of Manchester, failed to return from a walk Saturday morning.

At 1:10 p.m. Lyon’s body was found by Maine State Police Sgt. Scott Dalton and his dog in the woods behind Lyons’ home.

Authorities said they do not consider the death suspicious. The body will be examined by a state medical examiner.
