A 69-year-old man died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Standish on Thursday morning, and police are investigating the cause.
Stephen J. Nappi was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 near 150 Moody Road when he apparently lost control and the vehicle rolled over, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. The crash was reported about 10:36 a.m., the sheriff’s office said.
Nappi was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck and rescue workers had to cut apart the vehicle to extract him.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
