LIMERICK – Lorraine Lola Harmon, 90, died on Feb. 2, 2022, in Sanford after living a fulfilling life.

Born to Charles O. Madsen of Portland, and Marie Blanche Turgeon of Quebec, Lorraine remained in the Maine area her entire life.

She met and married the love of her life, Herbert A. Harmon of Gorham, in 1959. They shared many happy years together until Herbert’s passing in 2004. Together, they raised their children in a loving, nurturing home, enjoying family camping trips, drive-in movies, game nights, and family holidays.

Lorraine is survived by her six children, Charles C. Himes, Carl E. Himes, Mary E. Young, Laurie A. Shane, Margaret L. Kaberle, and Dwight A. Harmon; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
