SABATTUS — A man died in a fire late Monday afternoon at 21 Moore Drive, Fire Chief Troy Cailler said.
Sabattus police and fire departments responded to the scene about 4:30 p.m. for a report of a possible fire-related incident with possible injury and found the blaze was almost out, Cailler said.
Edward Greenier, 69, was found deceased inside the residence, according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer of Maine Department of Public Safety. An autopsy will be performed to confirm cause of death, according to Moss.
An investigation has been launched by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
