SOUTH BERWICK — Lindsey Somerset hit an RBI double and Hannah Goodale added an RBI single Wednesday to lead Bonny Eagle to a 3-1 victory against Marshwood in a Southern Maine Activities Association softball game.
Goodale relieved Sarah Bissonnette and closed out the game with 21/3 innings of shutout relief for Bonny Eagle (5-3).
Savannah Landis singled in a run for Marshwood (3-6).
WISCASSET 9, BOOTHBAY REGION 4: Carolyn Footer had three hits, and Alli Johnson added a single and a triple to lead the Redskins at Boothbay Harbor
YORK 9, FALMOUTH 6: Ivy Sheehan hit a two-run triple in the seventh inning to lift the Wildcats (5-3) over the Yachtsmen (4-4) at Falmouth.
Sheehan finished with a single and two triples. Alex Haight added four singles and an RBI.
GEORGES VALLEY 10, ST. DOMINIC 3: Tamara Wallace went 3 for 4 with three RBI for the Buccaneers (7-0) against the Saints (4-4) at Thomaston.
CHEVERUS 10, GORHAM 0: Audrey Grinnell hit two two-run homers to lead the Stags (7-2) over the Rams (2-6) at Gorham.
Theresa Hendrix added a double and a triple with six strikeouts over six innings for Cheverus.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2, LAKE REGION 0: Charlotte Lewis struck out three and walked one in a five-hitter as the Raiders (10-0) beat Lake Region (2-7) at Naples.
Kaela Mitchell, who had two hits, scored on an overthrow in the third inning and Ariel McConkey came home on a groundout by Maggie McConkey in the fourth.
SOUTH PORTLAND 13, MASSABESIC 3: Danica Gleason hit two singles and a double, and Kalie Swiger singled and homered for the Red Riots (9-0) against the Mustangs (2-6) at Waterboro.
South Portland broke it open with five runs in the fifth inning for a 9-2 lead.
MCAULEY 7, NOBLE 1: Molly Mack had two hits, including a two-run single in the second inning, for the Lions (8-1) against the Knights (1-8) at North Berwick.
Gabby Townsend added an RBI triple in the second and later had a single. Sam Schildroth also singled and tripled for McAuley.
POLAND 8, FREEPORT 7: Colleen Murphy singled home Celeste Knowles in the seventh inning to lift the Knights (1-8) over the Falcons (2-7) at Poland.
Murphy, Knowles and Katrina Seeley each had three hits. Murphy finished with four RBI, Knowles scored four runs and Seeley scored three.
SACOPEE VALLEY 9, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4: Melissa Mayhew had two hits and an RBI as the Hawks (5-1) downed the Seagulls (3-5) at South Hiram.
Mayhew hit a single and a triple. Julia Vacchiano and Callie Day each hit an RBI double for Sacopee. Chelsea Burnell also tripled.
SCARBOROUGH 16, BIDDEFORD 0: Heather Carrier went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double and four RBI for the Red Storm (8-0), who scored nine runs in the first inning and cruised past the Tigers (7-2) in five innings at Scarborough.
Mo Hannan struck out 10 in four shutout innings, and also had three hits and drove in three runs.
THORNTON ACADEMY 11, PORTLAND 4: Chrissy Remmes had three hits, including a two-run triple and two run-scoring singles, as the Trojans (6-2) handled the Bulldogs (1-8) at Saco.
Kristen Duross, Hannah Ebling, Lauren Titus and Meagan Fifield each had two hits for Thornton. Duross hit a two-run double, Titus and Fifield each singled in a run and Ebling scored twice.
KENNEBUNK 7, WESTBROOK 3: Janelle Bouchard hit a two-run triple in the fifth inning for the Rams (6-2) against the Blue Blazes (1-8) at Westbrook.
Carinn Burns of Kennebunk allowed three runs on five hits and a walk, striking out eight.
SANFORD 16, WINDHAM 5: Jordan Brasier had two home runs on three hits for the Redskins (4-4) against the Eagles (1-8) at Windham.
CAPE ELIZABETH 12, YARMOUTH 2: Lexi Cantara had three hits and three RBI as the Capers (3-5) beat the Clippers (5-4) at Yarmouth.

WAYNFLETE 15, FALMOUTH 5: Morgan Woodhouse had seven goals and one assist to lead the Flyers (5-1) past the Yachtsmen (5-2) at Falmouth.
MORSE 17, LINCOLN ACADEMY 4: Lindsay Watts had three goals and two assists as the Shipbuilders (3-2) routed the Eagles (1-4) at Bath.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 13, YORK 9: Katherine Millett scored the last two goals as the Panthers (5-2) had the final five goals and beat the Wildcats (4-2) at York.
