A crash involving a truck and car has closed the intersection of Payne Road and Holmes Road in Scarborough for much of the evening.
The accident, near Scarborough Downs, happened around 5:30 p.m. Police continued to be on the scene after 9:30 p.m.
Some people involved in the crash were taken to an area hospital, police said, but they declined to release more information.
