I have known Jillian Trapini-Huff for a decade and I think she would be a fantastic addition to the Scarborough school board. She is smart, open minded, hard-working and has a great sense of humor. She has four children so she knows the school system well. She is a down-to-earth, no-nonsense person who works well with others and would make sure all programs pass by the school board made sense.
She also has many elderly people in her social world so she would be tuned into the burden that property taxes place on them.
On Oct. 4, I’ll be getting an absentee ballot and using it to vote for Jillian Trapini-Huff for Scarborough School Board. I will be urging my friends to do the same.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
