Greely High School recognized 17 student-athletes, 14 photographed here, who will be participating in college athletics at a ceremony Tuesday. The group includes Elsa Dean-Muncie (Williams College, women’s lacrosse), Hannah Perfetti (Colby College, field hockey), Kaci O’Grady (Emmanuel College, women’s soccer), Mollie Obar (Brandeis University, women’s basketball), Sam Goldburg (William Smith College, women’s lacrosse), Isabelle Petty (Western New England University, women’s volleyball), Lucas Goettel (Wheaton College, men’s soccer), Lindsay Eisenhart (Thomas College, softball), Delia Knox (Wheaton College, field hockey), Abby Taylor (Springfield College, women’s lacrosse), Brady Nolin (Allegheny College, baseball), Luke Gabloff (Southern Maine Community College, men’s basketball), Chris Williams (Bowdoin College, men’s lacrosse), Leif Harvey (St. Lawrence University, men’s cross country, track and Nordic skiing), Camille Clement (Northeastern University, women’s basketball), Jaehee Park (American University, women’s swimming) and Elias Leggat-Barr (Tufts University, men’s rowing).
“A minuscule number of student-athletes go on and compete at the collegiate level, like one or two percent, so to have 17 from this graduating class is just phenomenal,” said Greely athletic director David Shapiro. “It might just be unprecedented.”
