SOUTH PORTLAND — Cece Keller scored the winning goal with 1:55 to play in overtime, her fifth goal of the contest, to lead Biddeford to a 9-8 win over South Portland in girls’ lacrosse.
Zowie Cheetham-Wilmot scored her second goal to tie the game with 24 seconds remaining in regulation for the Tigers (6-4), and Valentina Laflamme added a pair of goals.
Barrett Backman and Anne Von Seggern each had a pair of goals for South Portland (4-5).
FREEPORT 13, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 10: Kate Tracy and Savannah Tracy each had four goals as the Falcons (8-1) defeated the Panthers (6-3) at Yarmouth.
Megan Driscoll and Hannah Grove each added two goals for Freeport, and Ellie Whitter also scored.
Natalie Farrell scored four goals for NYA, Vy Tran and Maggie Holt had two goals and two assists each, and Mollie Nelson and Lily Weinrich also scored.
Allie White stopped 13 shots for the Panthers and Piper Williams made four saves for the Falcons.
WINDHAM 16, CHEVERUS 5: Emma Yale had six goals and two assists to power the Eagles (7-2) over the Stags (1-8) at Windham.
Riley Bean had three goals and doled out three assists for Windham, Carissa O’Connell and Isabelle Babb each had two goals, and Molly Black and Sydney McCusker also scored.
Riley O’Mear led Cheverus with three goals.
CAMDEN HILLS 16, ERSKINE 2:Alexia Cazemajou, Caroline Contento and Gracy Cody each had a hat trick to spark the Windjammers (5-1) to the win at South China.
McKinley Bartsch made four saves for Camden Hills.
Sarah Paul scored both goals for Erskine (3-6), and Annaliese Patterson made 17 saves.
BASEBALL
CAMDEN HILLS 7, MORSE 1: Obediah Miller opened the scoring with a two-run single in the first and then he and Hunter Bell lined RBI doubles to fuel a three-run third as the Windjammers handled the Shipbuilders (3-8) at Camden.
Cam Brown added a pair of hits for Camden Hills. Sam Moody allowed one run on eight hits, fanning four.
Gabe Aucoin was 3 for 4 for Morse, and Boden Gould and Ty Knowlton chipped in with two hits apiece.
YARMOUTH 10, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Jake Gautreau allowed one run with 10 strikeouts over six innings to help the Clippers (11-2) handle the Raiders (5-4) at Yarmouth.
Gautreau also went 2 for 2 and drove in two runs in Yarmouth’s 13-hit offense. Xan King added two doubles and a sacrifice fly.
SACOPEE VALLEY 4, POLAND 0: Starter McGwire Sawyer threw six scoreless innings, allowing four hits, and striking out five as the Hawks (11-4) blanked the Knights (6-7) at Poland.
Sawyer added two hits for Sacopee Valley, including a triple, and Caleb Vacchiano added two hits, scoring twice.
Drew Sayler had a pair of singles for Poland.
LISBON 7, BRUNSWICK 4: Mason Booker tossed 5 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on five hits as the Greyhounds (8-2) held off the Dragons (1-11) in Lisbon.
The Greyhounds broke the game open by scoring six runs in the first two innings and held off a late Brunswick rally. Hunter Brissette and Neil LaRochelle paced Lisbon with two hits apiece.
Tanner Rapoza took the loss, allowing six runs (three unearned) in 1 2/3 innings. Hank Burnham led Brunswick with two doubles, and Cal Wilby also had two hits.
OXFORD HILLS 13, MT. ARARAT 1: Wyatt Knightly scattered four hits and struck out eight in five innings of work in the Vikings’ (11-1) win over the Eagles (4-7).
Ty LeBlond had three hits and Wyatt Knightly and Eli Soehren each had two hits for Oxford Hills. Soehren also drove in three runs.
Nick Chase had an RBI single for Mt. Ararat.
SOFTBALL
CAPE ELIZABETH 19, LAKE REGION 2: Cape Elizabeth (10-0) used a six-run inning and a pair of five-run innings to pull away and defeat Lake Region (6-7) in five innings at Naples.
POLAND 13, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Atlantis Martin pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts as the Knights (6-4) pulled away from Sacopee Valley (8-5) in a five-inning game at Poland.
The Knights scored three runs in the first, then ended it with five runs in the fourth and five in the fifth.
OXFORD HILLS 16, MT. ARARAT 4: Bella Devivo led the Vikings (9-2) with two home runs against the Eagles (3-7) at Paris.
Liz Deiterich had four hits with two RBI and Katie Montelongo had a single in the sixth to drive in two runs to end the game.
Jaden Lohr had a single and Jaimey Weidner had a double for Mt. Ararat.
WESTBROOK 14, BONNY EAGLE 6: Madison Cole and Caitlin Noiles collected three hits apiece to spark a 17-hit offense as the Blue Blazes (6-5) downed Bonny Eagle (1-9) at Westbrook.
Maddy Brown, Allie Petry, Maddy England and Aria Brunner drove in runs for Westbrook in a six-run second inning.
Solveig Marles, Emma Burnham and Hanna Kaspereen were repeat hitters for the Scots.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4: Jasmin Huntsman lined a triple and added a pair of doubles for the Panthers (6-3) as they beat the Seagulls (0-9) at Yarmouth.
Acadia Gee picked up the win, going the first five innings, allowing four runs. Haley Hagerty recorded the save with two scoreless innings.
BOYS’ LACROSSE
ST. DOMINIC 7, LAKE REGION 6: The Saints (4-6) scored three goals in the fourth quarter to complete a comeback against the Lakers (2-8) on senior night at Auburn.
Seniors Devdan Young and Lucas Pushard led with four and three goals . Aaron Thibault made nine saves in the win.
Zach Vogel scored three times for Lake Region, and Jason Harlow had a pair of goals and Jacob Lemery had a goal.
