BOYS
Cody Bowker, Thornton Academy baseball: The junior struck out 12 in a one-hit shutout of South Portland. Two days later, he homered and drove in four runs in a 13-1 win over Bonny Eagle.
Andrew Farr, Gorham track: A junior, Farr set personal records in the 100 meters (11.02 seconds), 200 (22.42) and 400 (49.41) in a meet at Windham on Friday. Those are the fastest times in the state this spring.
Nick McSorley, Berwick Academy lacrosse: A senior from Biddeford, McSorley scored seven goals with two assists in Berwick’s 14-6 win against Marshwood and had four goals in an 11-2 win at North Yarmouth Academy.
Gibby Sullivan, Yarmouth baseball: Yarmouth (10-2) beat Freeport (9-3) three times last week, with Sullivan, a junior, a key contributor in a doubleheader sweep on Saturday. In the first game, Sullivan had two hits and earned the save. In the second game, he banged out three hits with a double and RBI.
GIRLS
Cassadie Armstrong, Portland softball: The sophomore pitcher won three games last week, and also hit two home runs, as Portland improved to 6-6. Armstrong had a four-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 16-2 win over Deering, then pitched both victories in sweeping Cheverus 9-3 and 17-9.
Elsa Dean-Muncie, Greely lacrosse: The senior scored four goals in a 15-7 win over York and had six goals and two assists in an 11-3 victory over Gorham.
Brooke Gerry, Windham softball: The freshman hurled a five-inning perfect game, with 10 strikeouts, in 13-0 victory in the first game of a doubleheader against Deering. She was also 4 for 4 with two RBI. In the second game, she drove in four runs in a 17-2 victory.
Natalie Singer, Marshwood lacrosse: The senior captain had four goals and two assists for the Hawks (8-2) in a 14-3 win over Sanford and four more goals in a 12-11 loss to York.
