It was cold and snow fell across the entire state.

No worries – we’re not repeating that this year, but it’s a good way to gain perspective for this week.

Showers will move out through the morning on Monday. They will be fairly light, despite being steady at times.

Most of the rain will be focused on the coastline and in southern Maine. Totals are really unimpressive. At most, someone could see a quarter of an inch.

High temperatures top out between 55 and 60°, with a chance for a few pop up showers in the afternoon.

Tuesday will be slightly warmer and slightly drier than Monday, though the cool and unsettled weather does continue.

High temperatures make it into the upper 50s and low 60s with scattered, light showers in the afternoon.

Wednesday will be much of the same. There are some signals that the afternoon will be a little drier, which should allow temperatures to make it into the low 60s for most.

The warmth comes into play on Thursday. Sunshine returns as high pressure takes control, easily allowing temperatures to swing well into the 60s.

Milder weather sticks around on Friday and lasts into the weekend, too. It should feel pretty great out there compared to the beginning of the week!
