I’m supporting Ryan Lizanecz for Portland Charter Commission in District 5 because he understands the difficulties we face “off peninsula” as a community and will be an advocate for our neighborhood that we have not had for a long time.

After talking to Ryan, it is clear he is aware of the tax burden on residents and will approach the process of editing our city’s constitution with a compassionate, listening ear. He talks to everyone, regardless of political affiliation, and always considers alternative viewpoints.

Ryan values separation of powers and approaches government and policy with an open mind. He grew up here, went to our local schools and has been a longtime advocate of Portland Public Schools. Ryan is exactly the sort of person North Deering, Riverton and Deering Center need representing them on the Charter Commission.
