
Longtime Maine painter Jeanne O’Toole Hayman shows newly completed abstract paintings at Local 188 in Portland. The exhibition, titled “Permutations: Examinations of Color and Shape,” includes more than 70 works that will remain on view at the Portland restaurant through July 2.
Hayman has a painting studio in Portland and is a member of the printmaking cooperative Peregrine Press. She has shown her work at galleries and museums across New England including the Farnsworth Art Museum, Richard Boyd Art Gallery and Greenhut Galleries. The exhibition is jointly curated by Jenny Gardner, manager of Local 188, and Full Circle Art Consulting’s Abby Daggett and Kristin Fitzpatrick.
