The winter markets are wonderful, but there is nothing like being outside with warm breezes and sunshine (or rain) and fresh vegetables, flowers, bakeries, cheeses, meats and neighbors.
Yarmouth
The Yarmouth market will be located at the Bickford Pavilion, 1 Railroad Square, from 3-6 p.m. Thursdays beginning May 6, across the street from the former location at 317 Main St.
Bath
The farmers market will move to Waterfront Park on Commercial Street on April 3. Hours will be 9 a.m. to noon for the month of April and 8:30 a.m. to noon for the summer.
Brunswick
Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust Market (sometimes referred to as the Crystal Springs Market) will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning May 1 on Pegasus Street in Brunswick Landing in the lot between Flight Deck Brewing and Wild Oats Bakery & Café. It is in the same location as the end of last year.
The Brunswick Farmers Market will be on the mall in downtown each Tuesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning May 1.
The Brunswick Landing Market, usually at Turtle Rock Farm, 39 Burbank Ave., is not planning to open this year.
Freeport
Makers on Main is the first Saturday of each month on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 1 through September. Vendors include artists, crafters, value-added food producers and agriculture and aquaculture farmers.
Cumberland
The Cumberland market is Saturdays at 290 Tuttle Road outside Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning May 22.
Falmouth
The market is located at 22 Hat Trick Drive behind Walmart and is open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting May 26.

Odd Duck FSE, 11 Pleasant St., Brunswick, opens April 1 for indoor dining with a new dinner menu featuring frog legs.
Maine Maple Sunday is March 28. Maine’s Maple producers around the state are opening their doors for tastings, demonstrations, family fun and educational experiences. Some producers are celebrating on Saturday the 27th as well. Pandemic protocols are in place. Please find a list of participating farms and a map to their locations at mainemapleproducers.com.
