FALMOUTH — Mollie Obar sank six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points Saturday to lead Greely to a 58-49 girls’ basketball win over Falmouth.
Camille Clement added 16 points for Greely (7-1), which outrebounded Falmouth 35-19.
Sloane Ginevan scored 24 points and Cameron Birks had 10 for the Yachtsmen (2-5).
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 70, POLAND 56: Anthony Prescott scored 15 points – all on 3-pointers – as the Patriots defeated the Knights in Gray.
Wyatt Kenney (14), Jay Hawkes (13) and Joshua Michaud (12) also scored in double figures for Gray-New Gloucester.
Hunter Gibson paced Poland with 24 points. Evan Kelly and Hayden Christener each added 10.
BOYS’ HOCKEY
MARSHWOOD 8, YORK 1: Eli Chilicki netted a hat trick for Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford (3-0) in a win over York (0-3) at Dover Ice Arena.
DJ Cagnina and JJ Reeve each added two goals for the KnightHawks.
Luke Douris scored for York in the second half.
LEWISTON 3, GREELY 0: Tanner Anctil scored two goals and Nick Pelletier notched two assists as the Blue Devils (6-2) beat the Rangers (5-2) in Lewiston.
Daxton St. Hilaire scored the other goal, and Mason Beaudoin, Connor Wolverton and Cody Dionne each recorded an assist. Keegan McLaughlin made 15 saves for his third shutout in a row.
Greely goalie Keji Wiessner stopped 43 shots.
GIRLS’ HOCKEY
CHEVERUS 6, YARMOUTH 0: Olivia Bradford netted a hat trick as Cheverus/Old Orchard/Kennebunk/Windham (2-0) downed Yarmouth/Freeport (3-5) at Troubh Ice Arena.
Lucia Pompeo scored twice, Maddie Doherty got her first varsity goal and Charlotte Miller had three assists. Trinity Atwater earned her third shutout of the season.
PORTLAND 6, FALMOUTH 4: Caroline Lerch finished with three goals and two assists, and Kimberly Clifford added two goals and an assist to lead Portland/Deering (4-3) over Falmouth (0-5) at Troubh Ice Arena.
Trinity Grenier and Kate Kinley led Falmouth with two goals apiece.
Mia Merrill contributed a goal and two assists for Portland/Deering. Lucy Howe collected with four assists.
ST. DOM’S 3, EDWARD LITTLE 2: Giselle Ouellette’s second goal of the game proved to be the difference as St. Dominic/Winthrop/Gray-New Gloucester held off Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland in Auburn.
The Saints got goals from Ouellette and Taryn Cloutier in the first period and another from Ouellette early in the third to build a 3-0 lead.
Caroline Tracey and Caroline Audette scored for the Red Hornets.
