When I was chair of the Harpswell PTO, I could count on Frank Wright to attend meetings and give his energy to PTO events.
Who started the Chess Club at Harpswell Community School? Who has been a cross country coach at HCS for several years? And who has been serving as one of our MSAD 75 board members for the last couple of years? Good guess: Frank Wright.
Now Frank is up for election for school board on the March town ballot. I’ve seen him in action during contentious board meetings. He always maintains his calm and folks respect his opinion when he offers it. And despite the odds against him, he is always trying to help board members listen to each other and build consensus.
So vote for Frank Wright, Harpswell residents. He is our Mr. Rogers and we’re blessed to have him in our town and representing us on the school board.
