When Particles Collide is the rock duo of singer/guitarist Sasha Alcott and drummer Chris Viner. Before the pandemic, they were traveling around the country in their van playing shows, but for the past year, they’ve been crushing it with streaming shows, and now here’s a chance to see them in person. Cadenza is hosting a limited number of audience members, so you can rock out in person. Rather stay at home? Hop onto the Cadenza Facebook page to stream the performance, and show the band some love by making a donation.
New Shades of Blue

Since your current favorite music venue these days is likely your own living room, find a good spot and kick back with New Shades of Blue. They’re the duo of singer and keys player Juliane Gardner and singer, guitarist and flute player Christopher Poulin. They’ve been playing together since they met as students in University of Maine at Augusta’s Jazz and Contemporary Music program, and they’ll be joined by jazz clarinetist Brad Terry, who was taught by none other than Benny Goodman. New Shades of Blue loves jazz, blues, pop and reggae, so you can expect a wide variety of original tunes.
Duquette & Dancer livestream

He’s been at it since the mid-’90s as a sideman, solo artist and member of jazz/pop/folk group Cactus Highway. She’s been a professional dancer and choreographer for just as long. As he plays tunes from his latest release “Stay With Me” among others, she’ll also be on stage dancing with silk veils, ribbons and other props.
