Six people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Wells Saturday night.

Police said five of the injured were taken to area hospitals. One of them is in critical but stable condition.

Wells Police said the crash took place at about 7 p.m. near the intersection of North Berwick and Merriland Ridge roads.

Police have not released the names of the injured or other information about the crash, which is being investigated by Wells Police and the Maine Warden Service.
