Adam LaBrie, Yarmouth soccer: In miserable conditions at archrival Falmouth, LaBrie showed a superb finishing touch to score all the goals in the Clippers’ 3-0 win. LaBrie has 18 goals this season, which leads Class B in the state. LaBrie has verbally committed to play soccer next fall at Thomas College in Waterville.

Honorable mention

Nick Mazurek, Oceanside golf: Mazurek shot an even par 72 to tie for first place with Drew Powell of Bangor in the Class A boys’ individual state championship last Saturday at Natanis Golf Course. He birdied his last hole with a 15-foot putt.

Maurice Johnson, Westbrook football: Johnson carried 23 times for 265 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 42-20 win over Kennebunk that secured the Blue Blazes (2-5) a playoff berth. Johnson scored on three runs over 50 yards and two from 15 yards.

Max Chabot, Deering football: Chabot threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as the Rams beat Edward Little, 32-12. Deering secured a playoff berth in Eastern Class A with the win.

GIRLS

Hashilla Rivai, Thornton Academy golf: Rivai shot a 2-under-par 70 to capture the girls’ individual state championship last Saturday at Natanis Golf Course. She had four birdies, two bogeys and the rest pars on the Arrowhead course.

HONORABLE MENTION

Ashley Perriello, Scarborough soccer: Perriello had a goal and an assist in a key 2-0 win over Thornton Academy and had three assists in a 6-1 win against Bonny Eagle that wrapped up a 12-1-1 regular season for the Red Storm.

Megan McLean, Marshwood soccer: She scored a goal in three straight games as the Hawks finished the regular season 11-2-1. McLean added two assists in a 5-2 win against South Portland.

Jordan LaPlume, Thornton Academy golf: LaPlume, a freshman, shot a 76 to tie for fourth in the girls’ individual state championship. She was one of the five girls to break 80.
