A Harrison man has been charged with possession of child pornography and must find a new place to live because he is not allowed to have contact with small children, including his own.

Wayne Pike, 37, was charged after members of the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit searched his house and computers and said they found thousands of images of infants and toddlers being sexually abused. Police do not believe any of the victims are from Maine. The unit has been investigating Pike since last summer.

Pike works in construction and lives at on Bolsters Mills Road with his wife and two young children.

He is free on bail pending a Nov. 19 court appearance, and his bail conditions prevent him from having contact with children, police said.
