Adam LaBrie, Yarmouth soccer: After scoring two goals, including the go-ahead goal in a 3-1 win against York last Saturday, the captain had three goals and an assist as Yarmouth beat Kennebunk, 7-0 on Tuesday.
Honorable Mention
Chris Carney, Wells football: Carney scored five touchdowns and gained 196 yards in leading Wells to a 49-7 win over Cape Elizabeth. Carney scored from scrimmage on runs of 43, 35, 40 and 9 yards. He also scored on a 50-yard interception return.
Eyob Bosse, Marshwood soccer: The freshman forward contributed at least one goal in three wins over the week, including two goals against Bonny Eagle and Massabesic.
Kyle Kennedy, Cape Elizabeth cross country: Kennedy won a four-school race involving 62 runners with a time of 16:50 over 5 kilometers. He finished 12 seconds ahead of teammate Mitchell Morris to remain unbeaten this season.
Girls
Kayli Leavitt, Gorham field hockey: Leavitt had the goal in a 1-0 win over Cheverus in a meeting of unbeatens Tuesday. The day before, she had two goals in a 9-0 win over McAuley. The Rams (7-0) are ranked second in Western Class A.
Honorable Mention
Sara Carder, Gray-New Gloucester field hockey: Carder scored five goals in a 9-1 win over Old Orchard Beach for the Patriots’ first victory of the season.
Katherine Leggat-Barr, Greely cross country: She won a four-school meet, involving 64 runners, by more than 30 seconds last Friday, completing the Twin Brook 5-kilometer course in 19:28 to lead the Rangers past Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth and Waynflete.
Melissa Morton, Windham soccer: In the season’s most anticipated Class A matchup, Morton scored two goals in a 4-2 win at Thornton Academy, including the go-ahead score after Thornton made it 2-2.
