BATH — Small Point Fisheries won its season opener in Bath Cal Ripken baseball Saturday, 6-1 against Sharon Drake Real Estate.
Chase Nicolino went 2-for-3 with two singles and scored one run. Gabe Morrison went 2-for-2 with two singles and scored two runs. Kiernan Mann, Dominic Hood and Eliot Harkins each added a single.
Pitching for Small Point Fisheries was Nicolino, Mann, Caleb Sommers, Morrison and Trevor Hanna.
Aiden Wyman scored the only run for Sharon Drake. Sharing pitching duties were Andrew Card, Wyman, and Jack Delano. They combined for 11 strikeouts.
