PORTLAND — Coffee By Design, which has been awarding art grants to projects in Maine for 20 years, is still accepting applications for its annual Rebel Blend Fund Grant.
Submissions are due by midnight on Sept. 15. Applications are available online at coffeebydesign.com or in any Coffee By Design coffeehouse.
Since the Rebel Blend Fund began, CBD has contributed just over $80,000.
A team of Coffee By Design employees reviews proposals to determine which submissions receive grant funding from the Rebel Blend Fund.
Applications should be submitted to: Coffee By Design, 1 Diamond St., Portland, ME 04101, ATTN: Mary Allen/Rebel Blend Fund.
Last year’s fund of $5,700 was distributed to 240 Strings, LumenARRT! and New Fruit.
In addition, 2016 Rebel Blend winners received visibility through Coffee By Design’s partnership with Androscoggin Bank, which announces the winners in their MaineBiz advertising. Plans for a similar announcement are in place for 2017 winners.
