LEWISTON — The Bates College women’s tennis team won four matches and lost only one on the second and final day of the inaugural Wallach Women’s Doubles Invitational, bringing the team’s final record in the round robin-style tournament to 7-5.
Senior Maisie Silverman of Brunswick teamed with sophomore Isabelle Rovinski for an 8-5 win over Wheaton.
In the opening matches on Friday, Silverman and Lauren Hernandez captured an 8-6 victory over Trinity.
Bates will next play at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships at Williams College Sept. 29-30.
