The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Brunswick recently donated a total of $1,350 to three local charitable organizations that provide shelter and food to individuals and families in need.

The donations were made through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England’s charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.

A $550 donation was presented to Tedford Housing, a nonprofit organization in Brunswick that provides emergency shelter, supportive housing and homelessness prevention services.

Another $550 check was presented to Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine, which provides successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes in Brunswick and the surrounding areas by building sustainable housing and repairing and weatherizing existing homes.

Also, the office made a $250 donation to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, which provides food assistance through its food pantry and soup kitchen.

“It is through generous contributions by the affiliated agents and employees of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Brunswick office that we are able to make charitable donations to organizations that assist some of our community’s residents. We are pleased to support our neighbors who are facing hardships, especially at this time of year,” said Jon Finch, vice president and managing broker of the Coldwell Banker office in Brunswick.

Affiliated agents and employees in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island donate a portion of their sales commissions or paychecks to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, which supports nonprofit organizations throughout New England.
