JAY, Vt. — Emily Burnham and Jordan Downing were married on Oct. 9, 2015, in a ceremony at The Clubhouse Barn at Jay Peak Resort in Jay, Vt. Chris Towne, a neighbor and friend, officiated the wedding ceremony.

Serving as the maid of honor was Tina Papadopoulus of Amherst, N.H., while the bridesmaid was Erika Downing of Essex Junction, Vt.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Cole Downing, of Essex Junction, Vt., while the groomsman was the bride’s brother, Jack Burnham, of Boston, Mass.

The reception took place in The International Room at Jay Peak Resort.

The bride, daughter of Suzanne and Keith Burnham of Topsham, is a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., with a bachelor of arts degree. She is employed as an international sales manager with FoodScience of Vermont.

The groom, son of Bonny Downing of Essex Junction, Vt., and Art Downing of Middlesex, Vt., is a graduate of U-32 High School in East Montpelier, Vt., and he attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. He is employed as an engineering technician with ASK-intTag.

The couple lives in Fairfax, Vt.
