BATH — Maranacook hit four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, but the Morse High School jayvee boys basketball team held on for a 54-51 victory recently.
Jacob Freeman paced the Shipbuilders with 13 points, Liam McDonough had 12 and Keegan Drouin chipped in seven points and a game-high 18 rebounds. Garrett Robson played well defensively.
Kevin Johnson had 10 points for Maranacook, which trailed 15-9, 26-22 and 39-33 at the quarter breaks. Caleb Jackson added nine points and Cody Solmitz had eight.
