BOSTON — The University of Southern Maine women’s indoor track team had a solid day of competition on Saturday at the 2016 NEICAAA Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the Track and Tennis Center on the campus of Boston University.

The NEICAAA New England Championships features competitors from NCAA Division I, II and III institutions.

The USM team of Peyton Dostie, Nicole Kirk, Liz O’Neal of Brunswick and Hannah Damron ran the second fastest 4 x 400-meter relay in school history, finishing in 3:53.58.

O’Neal and several of her Huskie teammates head to Staten Island, N.Y., this upcoming weekend for the ECAC Division III Championships.
